What is GIFT?

The Gas Independent Fans Trust is one of more than 140 Supporters’ Trusts that exist under the umbrella of Supporters' Direct, a national body that provides assistance to supporters "who wish to play a responsible part in the life of the football club they support".

The Trust was originally formed in 2002 but has had a makeover this year with  new members and fresh input from supporters from all walks of life. Many fans had expressed a desire to voice their concerns to the board in an effective way following the recent stadium postponement. Whilst the Trust hopes to provide a vehicle for supporters to do this it is also looking to actively support the club at grass roots and community levels.

The website is primarily here to provide supporters with details about our aims as a Trust. We also hope to keep you informed of any upcoming events and news relating to issues from boardroom level all the way down to how the kids playing for the club's youngest teams are progressing.
